Amber McCartney

Amber McCartney has performed in Chunky Move’s It Sounds Silly (2014) by Adam Wheeler. She has worked in close collaboration with James Batchelor for a number of years, most recently performing in DEEPSPACE (2016).

This year Amber performed Antony Hamilton’s Number of The Machine and Prue Lang’s Stellar Project, for Dance Massive. In 2015 she toured globally, performing in works: Duplication, Escapes to the Infinite, Violence, and Multiplication. She also choreographed and performed in her own commission titled The Air Reef (2015). Amber performed in A ten minute event of lived abstraction (2014) for Lucy Guerin Inc’s Pieces For Small Spaces.

Amber graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2012.
