Madeleine Flynn and Tim Humphrey are audio artists who work with the human experience of listening, their collaborations intersecting with industry, communities and sites.
Their works are commissioned and presented nationally and internationally, recognised with the National Award for Excellence in Experimental Music in 2012, and the Melbourne International Arts Festival Award in 2007.
Their work the megaphone project, an interactive public sound sculpture continues to be presented internationally. Other recent projects include Mobile Radio, Kekkai in collaboration with Korean theatre company Nottle Theatre and Gauge- a large scale sound of the weather installation, which will be presented in the UK in 2015. Their most recent work, 5 Short Blasts, for electric boats and marine radio, was awarded the 2014 Green Room Award for Hybrid/Alternative work and will be presented in Prague in 2015. They are currently working with Tim Darbyshire on Stampede the Stampede.
