Class with Kara
For me Countertechnique is a constant process of discovery, research and letting go, all the while being totally present with the people and space around you. It has enabled me to explore the greater possibilities of the body in movement and has assisted me in applying practical information while dancing. As a dancer you have the unlimited amount of choices to play and move with; in Countertechnique there is always a starting point and an opportunity to fly. I have been able to find efficiency, joy and clarity in my dance practice. As a Countertechnique teacher I hope to encourage others to open themselves to the infinite while being free of judgment and fear.
